Mariah, lovingly known as Midy, spent her teenage years trying her best to nurture her love of art. Unfortunately, without the modern day internet and social media, making connections wasn't that easy and her dreams could only stay just that.
“I didn’t mean to put them on hold for twenty years, but sometimes life happens. Quarantine and the reality of what a typical job meant made me realize that where I was career wise was not what I wanted. So, I started drawing and creating again, and I really honestly enjoyed making things that people liked or found useful.
I am still a primarily self-taught artist, utilizing resources like YouTube and SkillShare to expand my abilities and build confidence in my work. I’m still learning but I welcome you to join me on my journey of finally being able to live my dream and make art my career. "
Midy now lives in Delaware with her husband, three beautiful children, and two rescue dogs.
